As designers it is incredibly important to ensure our game experience is usable by as many people as possible, without the need for specialised adaptions. We want all players to feel welcomed to play and engage with our game and in order to do this, we need to implement accessible and inclusive design features.

Accessible design features can be split into six categories; motor, cognitive, vision, hearing, speech and general. Adaptions can be made for each of these divisions in order to provide solutions that fit everyone. By establishing the adaptions we plan to make before beginning development, we can ensure that they are incorporated into the design. This will allow us to remain consistent in consideration throughout the progression of the project and allow for mechanic production that is both inclusive and accessible for all players.
